We offer to your attention the exquisite new development – a new holiday village project in the premium ski resort Bansko, located at the foot of the glorious Pirin Mountain, on the border of the Pirin National Park and 200 metres from the main ski track. The average temperature in January, the coldest month, is -1.9C and snow falls are abudant, providing a constant winter snow cover up to 2 m thick. The lifts and runs at Bansko are of very high standard, there is excellent off-piste and powder snow skiing and the slopes hold better and more snow than Borovets. You can rent ski equipment from world famous brands along the ski runs or you can also leave your own equipment for storage here. A well-trained and equipped rescue team will take care of your comfort and pleasant vacation. Bansko offers the best skiing conditions but throughout the rest of the year it has a lot to offer as well. Here guests can enjoy a variety of landscapes and temperatures - spring full of unique blossoming flora; refreshing and energizing summer and golden autumn. It is the magnificence of the majestic Pirin Mountain which strikes with awe all visitors during their encounter with the crystal clear waters of the lakes, the evergreen forests and the glorious peaks towering above the area. To preserve this exceptional treasure for future generations the "Pirin” National Park was founded on 100,000 acres, including all the northern Pirin from the "Predela" pass to the "Popovi Livadi" area to the south - virtually the most beautiful and visited part of the mountain.
Here is the domain of the highest peaks, the venerable white firs, the edelweiss and the wild goats. Here are more than 180 lakes, where Nature has gathered a big variety of Bulgaria flora and fauna. The high altitude slopes and vast lands are an excellent place for mountaineering, skiing and trekking. The "Pirin National Park" is included in the UNESCO Convention for the Preservation of World Wildlife Heritage. The town of Bansko itself attracts many tourists with its numerous cultural and historical sights – more than 120 more than 120 monuments of culture, many historical places, the unique ethnographic museum and the permanent exposition of the school of icon-painting. Bansko is an important cultural centre for the region. According to historic records, the settlement was first established about 9th -10th century A.D. on the site where ancient Thracian settlements had existed. In the 18th century it was mentioned as a large and prosperous village of thriving crafts and trade reaching as far as the Aegean and Europe. In the 18th and early 19th century talented painters and woodcarvers created works of art in the houses and churches of Bansko, the Rila Monastery, the monasteries on Mount Athos, Serbia and Macedonia.
The expectations in the short term of 1-3 years are that the competition will increase in view of the construction of new accommodation grounds.
