These days the municipality of Blagoevgrad is approving a joint programme of the three groups for preventive work and particular legal measures for protecting the properties of the townspeople. Joint control of the villages in the municipality will be organized by permanent patrols and representatives of the town-council. The safety in this region is a priority. Mr. Prichkapov aims at helping people whenever he has the opportunity. There is another very interesting project of the mayor. He established Children Parliament. They are involved in town’s life and they learn to take care of their town, which is very important for its future. What’s more, Mr Prichkapov is busy not only with the problems of the citizens of Blagoevgrad. He makes appointments with people from different institutions, non-government organizations, and representatives of business firms, sport and art in order to help each other to make their relations faster and more qualitative.Especially it is important to the town council to be able to cater for the interest of the foreign investors. The town council has a project renewing the facade of two schools, replacing their window frames with new and giving a fresh new look to the inside rooms of the schools. A project that is also forthcoming includes a total repair of one of the kinder gardens with the free help of the ambassador of Japan.The mayor and the councillors take care of the enviroment and the conditions, where children study and spend most of their childhood.
