Dutch properties Friesland, Netherlands, gets 4m euros from sale of land
Dutch company Friesland Foods, owner of the Cluj-based dairy producer Napolact, collected over 4 million euros from the sale of a land plot for sale in Netherlands, in central Cluj, where the head office of the dairy producer is, sources on the market say. Friesland had recently announced it intended to sell Napolact's former 7,200 square metre head office. Representatives of the Dutch group could not be contacted for further information on the subject. According to the same sources, the Dutch group supposedly sold the land to a real estate development company for 560-580 per square metre, which would put the transaction at over 4 million euros.
This year, Friesland Foods moved to a new head office, located near the plant in Baciu - Cluj county (5 kilometres away from Cluj), where the Dutch group conducted an extensively investment in production capacities.
