Tourism in Bulgaria concentrates on the Black Sea resorts with Sunny Beach being the largest. The introduction of low-cost airlines offering direct routes into Bulgaria with an average flight time of just 3 hours ensures that Bulgaria is easily accessible from UK and Ireland. Nearest airport to Sunny beach is Bourgas, just 35km away or Varna, which is slightly further around 1 and 1/2 hours away.
