Enjoy living in the vacation complex located on the top of a peninsula just 20 meters away from the beach with a magnificent sea view! The luxurious complex comprises of three shining and comfortable buildings, situated in the becoming popular town – Sinemorets. The village lies 6 km south of the scenic resort town of Ahtopol. It has two beautiful beaches - one to the north, representing a pretty wide strip of sand bordering the mouth of the Veleka river from one shore to the other and another one to the south stretching between jutty rocks. The former is less populated due to its hard access via a dirt road, and is preferred by young liberal people, nudists and those in search of solitude. The south one in turn is rather crowded during the peak season for it is easy accessible by car and tourist-friendliness for two large pubs where from one can buy fast food and refreshments. Before the fall of communism in 1989, the village was a part of the restricted border area due to its proximity to the Bulgarian-Turkish border and access was not allowed to outsiders. Since the abolishment of restrictions, its beautiful and intact nature has appealed to wealthy people, who have rushed to buy land and build luxurious villas there. Gradually, the village has grown into modern medium-class resort. Actually, the whole present-day Bulgaria is a ‘best seller’ for tourist operators and estate agents, and all at a fantastic value. In 2004 Bulgaria saw its best season over the last two decades, enjoying an influx of foreign tourists, which gave grounds for The Washington Post to name the country as one of the world’s top 10 international destinations of the year. The Association of British Travel Agents named Bulgaria the fastest growing holiday destination for 2004. The country is not only attracting package holiday makers. The capital Sofia lures weekend visitors with its rich cultural and historical background that has much to offer to foreign tourists. With at least 30 % lower expenses for everyday life than in most EU countries, Bulgaria is an attractive and affordable place for Western Europeans to purchase properties for vacation and retiring. Situated 95 km off the district city of Bourgas, Sinemorets is about the farthest southeast one can get in Bulgaria. Presently a Bulgarian version of a ‘gold rush’ to a newly open world is staged here. A few kilometers down the road to Rezovo one can visit the fabulous beach of Silistar, which has become popular among tourist only in the last couple of years. The beach has wonderful sands, and is loved by families with children due to its serene, shallow and always-crystal waters. The Silistar beach has been cultivated at late with lifeguards being put at regular distances along the beach and a nice-shadowed pub offering food and refreshments being erected in its northern end. The waters close to the rocky ends of the beach offer a great view of marine life to amateur and professional divers. Magic lurks even in the shimmering waters of the biggest river of the region, the Veleka, so timelessly slow in its movement that it seems to be lacking the vigour to make its final plunge into the sea. Instead, all of a sudden, the river disappears beneath a strip of sand right at your feet and there, underneath, it flows into the salty sea. A winding boat ride among water lilies, lianas and slumberous trees - yet another way of immersing in eternal bliss. And yet the real magic is the people, a mysterious blend of down to earth practicality and spirituality. Their true friendliness and warmth are not a smaller merit to this land than all the wealth of the surrounding nature. ‘Welcome’ is what they say - and they mean it. Believe them once, and you will want to stay. It is believed that the name Strandja comes from the Proto-Bulgarian stem stran meaning secluded, remote and mystical. Such is the spirit of this land - a world of unspoiled beauty and natural harmony far from the modern hectic pace of life, a land of ancient glory whose silent witnesses still fascinate with their mysticism and majesty. If one wishes to discover the bliss hidden in the simple things of life, this area is the perfect place to choose. Located on the borderline of Europe, Asia Minor and the Mediterranean, Strandja enjoys a milder and warmer climate than the other mountain ranges in the country. It is a low mountain with a deeply indented landscape. Its inseparable part is the Strandja National Reserve, with a sea outlet between the town of Tzarevo and the village of Rezovo, including the area around Sinemorets. Over 50% of the Bulgarian flora is represented there with a big number of endemic, relict, rare and threatened Red Book species. The geographic and climatic specifics of the Strandza Mountain has determined the special characteristics of the vegetation which is an intriguing conglomerate of European, Black Sea and Caucasian species, differing in origin, biological peculiarities and level of development. The Strandja region together with the coastal line is one of the richest in animal species in Bulgaria. The animal diversity and identity is very well preserved for the reason that for a number of decades the access to the mountain has been restricted in view of the proximity of the state border. The Strandja mountain abounds also in birds. There are certain times of the year when the number of birds reaches 261, which represents 68% of all the birds found in Bulgaria. The natural beauty of Stranja bewitches you, while its laid-back rhythm envelops you, so you feel good and at peace with yourself. Your senses are always engaged with the colors and scents of the seaside, the mountain, the river, the rural life. Its beaches are in cozy, crescent-shaped bays, outlined by jagged cliffs, hugged by fresh, dark-green woods.
